As Ed stumbled out of his mum's car, his mum hugged him goodbye as he struggled to get a good grip on his bag. "Gah! Mum..! Not in front of everyone..!" Ed tried to squirm free as his eyes were facing towards his mother. "Oh, right.. You're too old for love from your mum." She said, loosening the grip on her son. Ed fell out of the car, quickly standing up and adjusting his bangs out of his face, spitting hair out of his mouth. "God mum, you're so clingly sometimes.." Ed put the straps of his bag over his shoulder as he grumbled inside. Ed was correct about his mother, of course, but he was 16 now, I'm sure he could survive 1 day without affenction and love from his mum. Especially in front of Ned. Ned was leaning on a wall near the front entrance with his foot on the wall. He had a cigarette between his fingers as his a trail of smoke came out of his mouth like a snake. His eyes fixated on Ed. "Yo, Ed!" He got off of the wall and walked to Ed. "Ned!" Ed started running towards Ned as he heard his name being called, his eyes twinkling as his mum drove away. He quickly wrapped his arms around Ned, embracing him between his arms as his head rest on his chest. Ned froze for a few seconds before hugging back. "Hello to you to, knucklehead." Ned let go of Ed who was trying not to be as clingy as he used to be. "S-So.. How are you..?" Ed started fidgeting with his fingers, Ned crushed his cig under his foot while they walked inside. "Eh, been better. My sisters still a pain, though.. As always." Ed chuckled. "She still is?" Ed looked at Ned in his eyes. Ned nodded swiftly, his hands now in his pockets. They went on for a few seconds in complete silence, Ed's face growing redder by the second. Soon they turned to the science room, Ned opening the door. They went down to their seats which were, obviously, right next to eachother. Ed sat his bag down to his left, whilst Ned sat his to his right. Ed and Ned were only in 7th grade so they didn't know a lot about love so the best they could do were simple hugs.
