got/made another new character :D Bio: Name: Oni Age: 19 Gender: it's complicated, though if I had to put a label on it then gender-fluid (he usually presents as a guy though and for simplicity if someone asked him he'd say guy so there's that) Sexuality: pan Height: 6'4 Pronouns: preferably he/they though doesn't really care a whole lot Likes: teasing, light banter, mischief, alcohol, fighting, his jewelry, cooking, onigiri, trying to break down people with superiority complexes, well fitted clothing Dislikes: quiet, dull conversations, people with superiority complexes, staining his clothes, wearing a lot for clothes Personality: someone who like to mess around and make jokes and light banter, though can get serious when they want to, they tend to try to hold out unless necessary, though they do have some anger issues and let loose sometimes, they may come off as intimidating and mean at first though once you get to know them they're much nicer, even if they steal/borrow your stuff without asking Other: -will often steal things from people he's close to, unless confronted about it eventually he'll return it and something extra, though if you confront him he'll just give the stuff back (basically he steals for the fun of it and tries to "pay back" by giving more than he took) -he's a decent chef, his best dishes are onigiri and curry -can not use a toaster or a toaster oven for the life of him, food gets burned every time Lore stuff: basically in his world there were oni (like from Japanese/Asian folklore) though most of them bred with humans to get closer to what Oni is, most oni abilities are lost and there are no more purebred oni by the time Oni is born Oni in his world is one of the few with the most amount of Oni blood/ancestry, Oni's parents keep trying to force him to try to keep that by trying to marry them off to other families children, eventually he almost gets forced into a marriage with someone, but they end up running away together then going their own ways Other stuff: being part Oni he has some powers, he also has an elemental stone as jewelry on his horns (the yellow gem thing) which in his world can give the user the ability to use that kind of magic (they have to have some kind of magical ability to start with of course) Powers/Abilities: -shape-shifting: he can shift form into almost anything, purebred oni were able to turn into anything though since Oni isn't purebred he can only turn into living organisms and they have to be close to his actual size (no smaller than a large wolf or wild mountain cat and no bigger than about a larger racing horse) he can also change his gender while in these forms as well, so can most oni even if they don't have much oni ancestry at all, it's one of the most common kept abilities, though depending on how much ancestry affects the usefulness and capabilities of it -"exploding blood": he can make his blood combust into flames, not a lot lot else to add besides it's one of the rarer abilities found now without pure bred oni -matter ingestion: they can digest pretty much anything, some poisons will still hurt him of course and eating too much will still hurt like any normal person, though he can digest a lot of different things that would not be safe for normal humans -partial immunity: around the age of 21-28 his body stops physically aging and his organs won't fail as he gets older, making about the only way for him to die being un-alived and un-aliving himself that's about it I think, I might update this as I flesh out his character a bit more but until then that's it feel free to ask questions if you're confused about something, as long as it doesn't spoil too much I'll answer anything (Scratch appropriate of course)
I really like them, made them while watching Steven Universe, as of now I'm almost done with the third season, I'm looking forward to the Movie which was already spoiled for me when I looked to much into it after discovering Christina Vee's cover of "Other Friends" stuff about the design that I wanna point out, the hair at the tips blends into a lighter pink color, the way I drew it and the way scratch made the image kinda crunchy ruined it a bit so I figured I'd point it out, also he doesn't wear the hoodie a lot, they don't tend to wear a lot lot (like they still cover up of course, they're still modest) also, also, their eyes are orange and yellow, orange at the top yellow at the bottom, that's their actual eye color and how it works not just a shading choice (well it is kinda both but if you're drawing with no shading then both colors will still be present if that makes any sense) also I'm starting to try to make my own language for a world I'm making, they language is tattooed onto his shoulder, there's a messy sketch of the letters so far, I've yet to construct most of the words, though it's probably gonna be a mix of different languages with grammar rules being a mix of English and Spanish.
