Backstory cause I can Shellfish was only a kit when it happened but before it happened it was just him his mum and owner his mums name was shrimp and owners name was milly. They were all snuggled in the bed in the lighthouse when it happened lightning struck the lighthouse sending shards of glass everywhere and making the lighthouse fall to the ground. Shellfish awoke on the sandy shore and was looking around for his mum when he herd her mew not to far away, he followed the sound and looked to his side to see his mum lying there with multiple shards of glass pearsing her sides like knifes but she still found the strength to talk to her son. “ shellfish will you promise me that what ever you do or anyone else does you will never hurt anyone no matter how much pain they cause you.” She said through raspey breaths “I promise mummy.” Shellfish said with a teer rolling down his cheek “ good.” His mum said as her breathing started to slow “ mummy don’t leave me.” Shellfish said as his mum lay there “ I have to sweety I won’t survive even if a vet came. Here take my bandana to remember me by and come snuggle in for the last time.” His mum said giving shellfish her bandana, he tied it over his eyes and snuggled in as she stopped breathing. “Mummy… mummy…MUMMY.” Shellfish screamed tears streaming down his cheeks. “Mummy you can’t leave yet we still needed to go to the real world…” he said softly still crying, just then he felt the warmth of his mum next to him and herd her whisper in his ear “don’t worry I’ll be here all of your life you just won’t be able to see me but I’ll be here always.” Shellfish started to snuggle back into his mums warm soft belly and slept the last sleep he would share with his mum.
