Wands *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* When Ginny and Carli left, Hermione took me and Bella to get wands. "Olivanders" the sign read. We went into the shop. I sneezed. "Bless you." Said an old man. "Thanks." I reply. "Hi Mr. Olivanders!" Hermione says. "Hello Hermione. Who are these two?" He says motioning to me and my twin. "These are my sisters, Bella and Jackie." "Nice to meet you two. Here to buy some wands?" "Yes." Bella says. "We're starting Hogwarts this year." "Good. Well, let's get you two some wands." First my twin tried out a silver wand with a spiral etching around it. She waved it. A lamp broke and I tripped on one of the pieces. Then she tried one that looked green and long. A lightbulb shattered on me. Finally, after trying out many wands, she got one. "Phoenix feather core, Laurel wood, 9 1/4 inches ." She waved it. I braced for impact. (I am not moving from this spot.) Nothing happened. A warm breeze passed though the shop. Nothing. "That's the one!" Mr. Olivanders said. Now It was my turn. I shook myself off, making sure that I had no more pieces of glass on me and walked over. He pulled out a short, golden colored wand. I waved it. A light flickered. Then it burst. My sisters were standing right underneath it. It broke and fell all over them. "Oops. Sorry!" I yell to them. "No problem." Hermione said, and said a spell that put the light back together. "Oh, that's not it." Mr. Olivanders said and pulled out another one. -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*--*-*- After trying out wands for a half an hour, I got a beautiful wand that was brown and green with a swirly handle. "Unicorn hair, 11 inches, vine, smooth and shiny." I wave it. I feel a rush of warm air. I brace for something to happen. Nothing happens. "Oho! This is the one for you." We buy the wands and exit the shop. I check the list. Everything is crossed off except for one thing; pets.
