Enemy concept: Sham Spring -=-=-=-=- Sham Springs look like normal springs until Sonic is close enough - then they reveal themselves to be an enemy. They will make big leaps in Sonic's direction until they get close enough, they then try to ram into him and send him flying. Jumping on them will make you bounce in the air, like with a normal spring; a spin dash will defeat them, though. -=-=-=-=- This enemy would work well in a vertical level, or one using a lot of springs. They could also work great for puzzles/secrets, where you have to lure one over to a certain area. -=-=-=-=- Another idea I had was to give it teeth and have it try to lunge out and bite Sonic when he's close enough, but I figured just pushing him away fit the enemy more -=-=-=-=- (I drew this in the vector editor and gave it a pixelated effect because I can't do pixel art)
