I HAVE MOVED THIS PROJECT TO A NEW ACCOUNT, EXPECT NO FURTHER UPDATES TO THIS VERSION OF THIS PROJECT, HERE IS THE OFFICIAL VERSION: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1041402357/ This is version 0.1 alpha. at v0.5 we move to beta, and at 1.0 we move to full release At school we were instructed to use a platform called microsoft arcade to do some coding work, and we were told to complete some skill maps, one of them being called 'save the galaxy'. Now this was very easy for me, but something i can say is microsoft makecode is very, VERY limiting. I am presuming this is because of the ability to convert code to javascript or python (i can't lie, thats a very powerful feature) but it meant there are so many basic things you can't do. Like you were limited to a much worse version of bitmap with preset colours, and had a total of TWO buttons you could use to interact with the screen, 'variables' are nothing like variables in scratch and cant be shown on screen, so you can only have a few scratch-like variables that show on screen including a basic timer, a basic score, and a basic live system. You get the idea. So i was bored, and i didnt have any exams to procrastinate for, so i decided to remake this game in a much less limiting platform i love using, scratch. I want to see how much i can improve the game and how much better this game concept can really be, but ive been working on this for an hour rn and i really want to release it so im just gunna release updates for it where i improve it. this project has big plans. And no one is reading this lol im just waffling at this point. ig ill keep waffling then. I am going to just make updates to the game and keep adding features until it becomes a really good high quality game. So far, i can say around 2 hours of work went into this game, 30 mins was figuring out how to make a clone touching a clone doing something, and an hour went into making the sprites, and the backround still looks bad.
