Yes, Felnines celebrate the new year in the middle of our irl years. July 1st is pretty much as close as exactly the middle of the year we can get on normal years, with there being 183 days before and 182 days after, but on leap years (such as 2024), July 1st is the exact middle of the year, with 183 days before and after. Obviously I can't make anyone wait a whole half of the year for this event, so why not make it the first official event? (Also making this a belated pride month event because I got slammed with irl priorities and couldn't organize the event I wanted to do in time- oops.) »»✦—|Event Details|—✦«« The event has been chosen to be held on the continent of Vrezath (as it is both the most neutral territory and was the least damaged by the last war) in the city of Baillegalla, a territory in the heart of Vrezath ruled by any of the continent’s kingdoms, and shared equally by them all as a neutral ground. The celebration of the new year will be held in the city’s streets, with festivals and celebrations all throughout the night with Felnines of every kingdom invited to join, including their royals. It will be held in-rp on the 1st of July with no limit to how many people or characters may join. Roleplaying may be done in smaller, individual threads or large ones with several members, though it’s recommended that you join the event’s main thread, for which the sign-up form may be filled out in this project’s comments below.
