[Red] I couldn’t stay after Orange left. I knew things would be tough without Green, but I had hopes that he was coming back. But Orange… He held the friendship together. Whenever we fought, he was there to break it up. He’s the reason we were so close. I don’t know what happened. Green just started hating us for some reason. I couldn’t stay and live without them. I had to go. Where was I even going? What was I going to do once I landed in Interspace? I guess I’d have to find out… I got shot out of the cable connecting ALANSPC to Interspace. I landed in the huge cove where the fight with Dark took place. ~~~ I’d finally gotten myself, and Reuben, out of the cove and up the cliff. First of all, I was exhausted. Second of all, so many memories and flashbacks came to my mind. When we first climbed up that same cliff, maybe three years ago. When Yellow hacked the computer and got Alan on our side to help. When we ran out to fight alongside Chosen. Through all of that, the five of us were together. Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow and I. Why couldn’t things just go back to normal? I kicked the ground hard, and a piece of dirt flew a few feet away. I sighed, letting all my anger out, ready to head… somewhere, for who knows what reason. “C’mon, Reuben,” I said, holding my hand out so I could pet him. He pushed his head up under my hand and started walking forward. I followed. We walked through the clearing on the edge of the cove and into the trees. I was kind of sort of heading towards the city, but I knew I wasn’t going to settle there. ~~~ We had been walking for what seemed like an hour when something in the mess of trees caught my eye. There was a clearing off to the right, and something- or someone- was in it. “C’mon,” I said to Reuben. “We’ll be there in just a little bit.” I walked into the clearing and felt the warm sunlight on my face. The breeze picked up now that we were out of the trees, and the line of brush made an almost perfect circle around the clearing. I would have been staring in awe at how beautiful the scene was if I wasn’t so sad and tired. I walked towards the center of the clearing and finally realized what it was that had caught my eye. Someone had built a house, with Minecraft materials, in the middle of the forest. It was actually really pretty, and it fit the scene perfectly. I walked up to the front door and gave it a little knock. I waited for a few seconds, then a sea green stick figure opened the door. “Oh, hi there!” She said, walking out onto the front step. “Hi!” I said back, trying to sound as cheerful as possible. She looked me up and down for a second. “Aren’t you one of those five stick figures that saved Interspace from The Dark Lord?” I chuckled. “Yep, that’s me.” “Wow,” she said, quietly. “Please come in! I’d love to talk with you for a bit.” She walked back inside the house, and I followed behind with Reuben. ~~~
