Yet to add stock icons for Fox, Ness, Captain Falcon, Sonic, Jibanyan and Goku (And Wario if he gets added) Rest are in game or in files (Unused = character likely won't get in) To-Do List (Engine wise, not menu wise): - Add in the remaining 5 stages - Lengthen respawn time - test all projectiles / specials to make sure they work and show their sprites (im looking at you link) - Fix bots or at least allow them to have better recovery and navigation options (if possible) For example, Sonic bots SD too much or bots not being able to fall through platforms, so if the x axis is the same they just kinda get stuck. In other words; better y axis movement for bots - Re-add SFX. Stage specific SFX like Shadow Moses' snowstorm I can do myself but stuff like footsteps, dust trails and character voice lines need to be re-added. Also launch sfx ig - Hitstop and hitstun / cleaner movement? Key notes per character: - Yoshi needs bigger hitboxes and his special are incomplete. Side B needs more control and his neutral and up Bs are essentially useless. His Up-B also gives him an infinite recovery. - Sonic needs to be overall faster and his neutral B should stop momentum and should angle-able in any direction - if it doesn't hit the opponent, it goes into freefall, but if it does, you can enter into arials. Side B needs to be so much faster too. - Link needs massive bug fixes on all projectiles and is too slow. - Kirby is broken regardless of what you do. Maybe give a massive nerf to his secondary jumps??? - PK Flash should be a much slower, barely moving PK Thunder or a get off me tool. Ness is way too slow and heavy and should be floaty. Ness should have the highest secondary jump in the game and a normal base jump. Arials should be faster (Ness is better in the air than the ground). Reflect / Magnet should be instant. - Samus is just way too slow and heavy. She needs a much higher base jump and faster (or stronger moves). She should be fine with her current speed but she needs a much higher base jump to account for that and much stronger attacks. - CF needs more effects and his taunt. Generally, the game needs better momentum. Running needs better implementation (So double tap running or auto-running with the run button slowing the character down) and most characters completely break momentum when moving around with their attacks or specials. Like I can get Mario's cape, but why do characters like Sonic and Captain Falcon completely pause before some of their specials? That, and the fact that there is no hitstun and other sorts of effects just makes the game feel clunky... this is a big issue and these things will have to be worked on over time or worked on when all the characters are done. So only Luigi, Fox, Donkey Kong and Jibanyan are nigh incompleted, with Pikachu half completed, so the game isn't far off from a complete roster so these big changes and fleshing out the game could mean the engine (and by extension game) is done by August if we keep up the pace we have now, which is only a month after when I was hoping, so we're on track right now. As long as the roster has at least two characters done per month (or around two characters worth of work), we should be on track for a mid-year release. - Might program Luigi or rip all sprites to help out Dinostroid
