Simple but cool you can press space to extend the cat. Choose distance before pressing space the second time. The 300 mark (for the distance) is shown with the red line. Press "D" to set the distance also.
This is something I found out last year and though this was a good simple idea. Have fun! I suggest you choose a low number for your distance. It makes it look more 3d. Try 14
