Pearls were ment to be fancy servants to higher like gems But this pearl has left homeworld with the Rebellion Gem Rosequartz (Stevens mom) Pearl loved Rose and gave her life to her, but after Rose gave her life birth to steven, Pearl takes care of steven with Garnet and Amethyst. Amethyst: Is a type of quartz but "simply stayed in the ground for too long" said Peridot. She was abandoned during homeworld war and was taken in the arms of rose quartz and her two companions Garnet and Pearl. She is a lot of fun to steven and she jokes around with him a lot to, she also protects him but shows a layed back attitude most times. *Greg: is stevens father, he fell in love with rose and soon she had steven. Rose, sadly, knowing what will happen if she gave birth to steven, will never get to see greg or the gems again (that is of course there is someway for stevn to do something about that) So she decided to give birth to him. Greg, as sad as he is, he knew he was going to be happy, even if he doesn't have his music career anymore. He works in a car wash now, and also helps steven and connie with their issues. He goes and spends lots of time with his son too Peridot: A homeworld gem has came to earth to destroy the crystal gems originally, but has betrayed her gem, because she started to care about the crystal gems and the earth. She is considered a crystal gem now, but still has a lot to learn. Jasper: another homeworld gem assigned to come with peridot to destroy the gems. She has been beaten by garnet on the ship where she kept ruby and sapphire (the gems name that fuses into garnet) in captivity. because Jasper thought that since garnet was a fusion that made Garnet beat Her, she took one of her gem fugitives (Lapis Lazuli) and fused with her. They formed Malachite. Lapis Lazuli: a heart broken gem, who wants to get back to homeworld, has developed a relationship with steven and wanted to protect him since he freed her from the gem mirror. Since Jasper has forced her to fuse with her, she dragged them both to the bottom of the ocean to protect the gems, also out of frustration of being held captive. Connie: a human being who shows affection to steven and wants to protect him. although he is 1 and 3 quarters younger than him, she seems to act a bit more mature because of her parents influences on her. She trains sword fighting with pearl, since steven can only use his mothers shield and not her sword.
