REMEMBER - If you're rejected, it doesn't mean you're bad. It may mean you didn't read the rules, it may mean you're not online very often and I don't want the part to be delayed, it may mean that even if you're good at animating, you've just never done a MAP part before. Plenty of popular books were rejected by many publishers. Don't be offended if you're rejected. And with that in mind; ==RULES== ◊ Ask for a part before taking it. ◊ Animate ONLY Warriors. As in the cats. ◊ No PV* style, only AV*. ◊ FOLLOW THE SCRIPT. The first codeword is a name of a Scratcher. ◊ DO NOT animate on backdrops. ◊ No more than three sprites. ◊ DO NOT use effects (ghost, color, brightness, etc.) or excessive cloning. ◊ Use your own art. ◊ Feel free to use another program to animate/draw. The second codeword is a vegetable. ◊ Nothing that would break the Community Guidelines. Gore is allowed, but nothing to graphic. ◊ On the topic of blood, do not use bright red! It hurts my eyes and isn't remotely realistic. Use a darker shade. ◊ You may add a watermark, but they will be excluded in the final product. If you decide to add your watermark, please use a separate sprite. (you'll get credit! no watermarks though.) ◊ You must have participated in a MAP at least once before this. ◊ Parts are pre-cut. ◊ I'll be somewhat picky with animators. ◊ There are references for the characters. ◊ Be sure you can do the part. All parts are 5-6 seconds long. Make sure you can do what's put in the script. I might double check with you on this. ◊ You may have up to five parts. ◊ Make a lot of backgrounds! No blank backdrops :) Make a sprite for backgrounds though! ◊ Don't take longer than four weeks. I'm a bit flexible on deadlines though, so no worries (: You should have two codewords by now. If you do not, then reread the rules. * AV = Animated Video, PV = Picture Video This is based off of @-applepie-'s Warriors AMV.
