»»✦ Princess Eris ✦«« (She/Her) Eris is, to put it lightly, a menace to society. Exactly what you would expect from a daughter of Queen Varalica herself, yet still enough of an unpredictable force to keep the palace staff on their toes and contemplating resignation. She’s a spoiled troublemaker who, even at the ripe age of six, seems to take immense pleasure in other’s misery. If she’s not breaking things or making a horrible mess ‘on accident’, or sending food that palace chefs spent hours preparing to her exact liking back into their faces because ‘she didn’t like it’, or purposefully starting problems and watching it go down because ‘she’s bored’, she’s throwing a tantrum because something didn’t go her way or something she wanted she didn’t get, no matter how small it is. Heavens forbid you say ‘no’ to the little princess, because the moment the tears start her mother is the one to make them stop, normally involving a missing limb or two. Speaking of the Queen, Varalica is the only one in the entire palace it seems that Eris actually listens to. She will follow her mother around everywhere she can, will follow her every word and move without so much as a second thought. Yet despite being the easy solution to Eris’s behavior, Varalica does nothing but condone and even reward and encourage these behaviors from Eris. »»✦ Other ✦«« -Eris has Melanism, which is a genetic condition that causes an over-development of melanin, turning animal fur, skin and plumage completely or partially black. Melanism is the opposite of Albinism, which is caused by a lack of melanin. While albinism often comes with sun sensitivity or autoimmune issues, melanism typically does not, so Eris has no health affects from her condition. -Eris has a lot of eyes, and all of them work. In total, she has 22 eyes (her eye placement is symmetrical with the other side of her body) -It's hard to see on her base, but she has a few snake-like adaptions other than her long body and fangs, such as a long, black forked tongue, snake-like nostrils and pit organs. -Eris's A.o.A was very recent, so she's still getting a handle on basics in terms of magic. None the less, she's enjoying her new snake companion, whom she has named Echidna and is just as awful as her, much to the palace staff's dismay
