'A mysterious creature sits on a hilltop, resting next to a tree where seven nooses are strung on its branches. The man looks down on what looks like a cluster of cabins near the base of the hill, and comfort fills his soul. He is waiting for his children, whom he has been separated from for many years, and he knows they are in one of those cabins. Doubting anyone can hear him, he begins to sing... a little song of hope, with different lyrics to a lullaby he had sang to his children so long ago. As he sings, a human teenager walks by, noticing him. As the man finishes his song, he looks down at a small group of flowers. In the center are three roses on a single stem. His final lines of his song allude to a woman he had also lost. For every creature that is born, another dies, but it shouldn't be so close together, such as the birth of his second son... and the death of that son's mother. But he knows, somewhere, someday, he will look at his sons again. Tears of joy would fall, and their souls would be able to live in harmony... such as the souls around the roses... the souls of all they had lived with... and now, only a few, including them, had survived. The man finishes his song, and turns to the woman watching him... both beneath the shadow of a family's hanging tree.'
