REMEMBER - If you're rejected, it doesn't mean you're bad. It may mean you didn't read the rules, it may mean you're not online very often and I don't want the part to be delayed, it may mean that even if you're good at animating, you've just never done a MAP part before. Plenty of popular books were rejected by many publishers. Don't be offended if you're rejected. And with that in mind; ==RULES== ◊ Ask for a part before taking it. ◊ Animate anything you want - but preferably humans. I feel like birds would also fit well with this, though. ◊ You may be good at animating OR art to get into this; you may do AV* style or PV* style. ◊ Use your own characters. The first codeword is a food. ◊ DO NOT animate on backdrops. ◊ No more than five sprites. ◊ DO NOT use effects (ghost, color, brightness, etc.) ◊ Use your own art. ◊ Feel free to use another program to animate/draw. The second codeword is a flower. ◊ Nothing that would break the Community Guidelines. ◊ You may or may not add a watermark; it's up to you. ◊ You must have participated in a MAP at least once before this. ◊ Parts are pre-cut. ◊ I'll be somewhat picky with animators. ◊ There is a loose palette. Use browns and black/greys, or dull/muted/unsaturated colors. (see inside for examples) ◊ Be sure you can do the part. All parts are 9-11 seconds long (with the exception of one part). You should have two codewords by now. If you do not, then reread the rules. * AV = Animated Video, PV = Picture Video
MAP Host: @-Ravindra- (@Ravindra-MAPs) All art and code is by me, @Novakitty! Here's my part for your 16 Tons MAP, Ravindra! I hope you like it! I do apologize for the poor art, I really tried! My attempts at doing a really cartoony human didn't work out very well... He he... I usually just do animating, but I wanted to experiment a bit and this sounded good for PV style. ^_^ Wow, this is probably the first project in 50 that I didn't use vector in for any part whatsoever. O.O
