A little less lore based than some of the other ones, but sort of a bit of a calm before the storm moment. 3rd Life deserves all the love. A lot of the previous poems have been quite dark and dramatic, and I love them for it, but I wanted to do something a bit lighter. Obviously, it still has that Life Series blood-tinted beauty to it, but it has a calmer vibe to it. Tonight and Tomorrow Tomorrow we head off to war, my friend Then fate will decide if we die Tomorrow we fly through the storm, my friend But tonight we rest in the eye Tonight we look to the stars, my friend And wonder what secrets they hold Tomorrow we’ll learn what they are, my friend But tonight we are clueless and bold Tomorrow we head off to war, my friend A truth that we cannot refuse Tonight we should fear even more, my friend For tonight shows us what we can lose
