cosmic odyssey is canceled,,, i'm really sorry for wasting your time but it has to be this way I know, you probably want to bash my head in with a rock. that's definitely justified. but let me explain here I was making each update roughly every 2-4 days, and waiting for 2 days each time for comments to respond. I was planning on making 5 episodes total, and each episode would likely need 5-10 updates before it was complete. My summer break ends August 20th, so by the looks of it I wasn't gonna have enough time to finish this project by summer. And considering that I only get TWO HOURS of computer time on weekdays, I'd have to sacrifice my time talking to friends or playing games to work on this project. Even if I was willing to, the comic would be moving at a snail's pace, which would probably kill everyone's interest and lead to it getting canned anyway. Which brings me to my next point, I have literally no motivation left. The idea of an updatable sci-fi comic is a good concept but it's not one that I of all people could pull off. I'd have to make a storyline and lore, write suitable dialogue, and draw 2-6 panels each and every day, all by myself. Not to mention that my STUPID ADHD BRAIN was already uninterested in this project by the time Episode 1 Update #1 came out, despite being so excited for it just a few days prior. I'd much rather do silly useless shenanigans than work on a project I could no longer give a flying ferret about. It's probably better for this project to get canned by Episode 1 than having it happen in the middle of the plot. The less progress is canceled the better. And even if it wasn't canned you'd likely end up with a sloppy excuse of a comic and a VERY burnt-out Bagel. it's definitely my fault for thinking I could commit to so big a project, so please remind me NEVER to do something like this ever again If you care about this dumb project and want to pick it up, by all means, go for it! I'll help with lore and writing and MAAYBE some art but most of the work is gonna be up to you and your team. Though if neither you nor none of your friends want to draw 2-6 comic panels per day, you could just turn it into a text adventure with no pictures. TLDR; I have no time and no motivation, you can work on this project for me if you want (I will help) anyways yeah that's about it. throw every slur and cuss word ever conceived by humanity at me, I'll take it all but it won't change my mind bagel out
