It all started a long time ago.. In a "Code Block Factory" Our regular old "Cat-a" named "Dex" was doing the usual job there, operating the machinery.. however due to his clumsy nature he was known for at work, he ended up dropping a "create clone of: myself" block into the main engine of the machine, jamming it.. desperate to save his job, Dex jumps on into the machine to try and fix it, but it was already too late.. the machine exploded, sending poor Dex flying through the air! the code block being flung with him.. suddenly a lightning bolt hits Dex and the code block, and they plummet down into a forest.. when Dex woke up, he felt energy surge through his veins.. and the code block was gone... he suddenly let out a blast of energy from his hands.. this blast creates the clone block in his hands!? seeing this, he wondered what would happen if he pressed the block.. suddenly, an identical clone of him appeared by his side.. that mirrored anything he did! after discovering his powers he used them do lots of work and chores for him back home, another thing the clones did was, if the clones studied.. then when all the clones recombined with the original, the original would gain the knowledge the clones learned! overtime though.. the clones started to feel... off-putting.. like something was wrong with them.. some didn't perfectly mirror Dex.. some ran off.. some even went rouge.. eventually.. the original Dex had lost control of his powers.. he was basically a clone factory.. constantly creating armies of clones! desperate to save the world from a clone-pocalypse.. he let out a massive energy surge.. causing all the clones to be recombined with him! however once he pulled all the clones away for good.. this caused him to feel really dizzy... and he fell to the ground into a deep slumber.. a captain (i cant decide which one, you decide.) followed one of the clones and ended up finding Dex on the ground.. and took him to the area where the other captains reside.. after he woke up, he didn't remember much of what happened to him he couldn't even remember his name.. but since then he's wanted to learn to control his power to prevent any more disasters.. but he has a long journey ahead of him.. the other captains offered to help him and ever since then, he's been a loyal newbie member of the group, Captain Multiply!
