So, last night I stayed up to midnight trying to finish The Flames of Hope, and I did. It was a pretty wild ride. For example, dragons being mind-controlled by the othermind as well as Queen Wasp, dragons who died about 5,000 years ago but was made a half-ghost, half-dragon thing that is only alive in the mindspace. EVIL PLANTS WHO ARE FINDING A WAY TO TORTURE A DRAGONET NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS. Dragons made invisible but get lost from each other and take like 9 chapters (or more) to find each other again. Overall, it was a great book, probably one of my favorites, my only negative about it is: WHY DID THE AUTHOR MAKE FREEDOM BEAN HAVE TO DIE (Is that what I should be calling it? Dying? Disappearing? WHATEVER ITS CALLED) AGAIN, INSTEAD OF COMING BACK TO LIFE AS A DRAGONET AND GETTING TO LIVE A NORMAL DRAGON LIFE WHERE SHE ISNT A HALF GHOST AND ISNT ABUSED BY COTTONMOUTH!?! Honestly, I cried myself to sleep after that book. I just missed Freedom SO SO much!!! I know she wasn't much of a bean for most of the time, but near the end she was a little bean, AND SHE WAS JUST MISUNDERSTOOD T-T!!!!! Anyways, you better leave while I cry until I have a mental breakdown! (Joke)
Freedom art by me!!! Advice: When you read The Flames of Hope, if you are emotional and/or sensitive, when you reach Chapter 24, I suggest you get something that provides you emotional support, and a cup to cry into. Who knows? You might need it!
