80 years ago today, on June 6th, 1944, thousands of brave men from the US, Britain, and Canada landed on Normandy beaches to invade France as one of many efforts by the Allies to end the Nazis. Many of these men sacrificed their lives on that day, and will be remembered for their sacrifices. The Normandy landings were one of the first efforts that helped end the Nazis, and will be forever known as D-Day. May we honor those men who risked or sacrificed their lives for the efforts of the Allies 80 years ago.
