Go and play with Orangekit and Blackkit. I'm sure they're sad too." Pinestream said, holding the truth from his 4 moon old daughter. "Ok....." Flowerkit responded, knowing Pinestream wasn't telling her the exact truth. She wandered over to Blackkit, her mind on something other than playing mossball. "Hey, fuzzbrain. What's wrong?" Blackkit teased, looking at his friends sad exprression. "Nothing..... My grandmother, Sweetface, is sick. And I'm worried she might d!3…..." Flowerkit responded, pushing the mossball slightly with one paw. "Don't worry! She's probably just sick. Lots of the elders get sick if the apprentices give them salt water instead of fresh water." Blackkit said, trying his best to reassure his friend. "I think it's more than that, Blackkit!" She shrieked at the young tom, stalking off to her nest in the nursery. As soon as her paws touched the soft moss of her nest, a shriek ran out around the camp.
