[NOTE: This project is only for Joshuapuffles 8 Year Anniversary Studio curators and other close friends of mine to officially join. Please understand! I am just making sure there aren’t TOO many people I don’t know about…] Greetings, one and all, my name is Joshuapuffles, with the first major announcement of the Joshuapuffles 8 Year Anniversary! Back in 2022, I started a game concept project known as The Animonsters Brawl! It would’ve starred the characters of the Animonsters friend group (which I was a part of) in a fighting game similar to Super Smash Bros. It wasn’t really meant to be an actual game but just a fun little collaboration between us. I even made a studio for it, which is here: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/30978665/ But now… after 1 year of hiatus… my fighting game project will finally return with a brand new revamp! Get ready for… Crossover Clash! In this game concept project, various characters from different universes have been sent mysterious invitations to a grand fighting competition across the multiverse! They’ll have to cross paths with each other using mysterious portals that connect universes and duke it out! (Again, I don’t really plan on making this a real game yet, just a fun collaboration project with friends!) It’ll be an upcoming successor to The Animonsters Brawl, but this time I’ll invite even more of my friends to join in! Those who have been invited to the Joshuapuffles 8 Year Anniversary Studio can be involved in this project, but if you’re also another Scratch friend of mine, you are free to ask me, and I will let you in! I’ll only allow people I know about to join Crossover Clash, just so things don’t get too out of hand! Sorry… Anyways, be on the lookout for further news. Just like The Animonsters Brawl, each character will have a unique “move-set” detailing their attacks, stats, and abilities! This time, I’ll make sure to keep the move-set guide simple for those who don’t play too much Smash Bros, and so the process can be much easier and quicker! The move-set guide project will be coming soon, but for now, if you’re a member of my 8th Anniversary Studio, or another friend of mine, and you’d like to join Crossover Clash, you can remix this project with the characters (must be your OCs) you’re planning to use as fighters (or list them in a comment below). You can add as many as you’d like, but not TOO much, please! I look forward to seeing them! If you don’t want to do characters yet, that’s fine! You can do other stuff for Crossover Clash if you’d like! The list of characters I plan on using so far is in this link below!
