They had wings and powers, which was rare. And they were used by the government, and spent their whole lives that way. Marie and Jewel lived in a secret facility in America, and were poked and prodded at and learned other languages. Marie was being experimented on to become an American super soldier. But sometimes she would go crazy and k1ll guards, even though she didn’t want to. Jewel is a sorceress, betrayed by the man who became her master and adoptive father for his own gain, and she was afraid she would die alone with no one by her side. Deedee is an alien, with two best friends, and escaped to Earth with a plan to return for her friends, and met two humans who ended up to be hiding deadly secrets. Doucan is an alien, secretly learning how to learn English, and the one adult who was ever kind to him he only knew as Ma’am, and then a monster attacked. Feřaro is an alien who spent his life being used by the government, and got corrupted by a monster. Ever since, he’s had problems of staying calm - and staying sane. Their lives connect.
