Hi, and welcome to my coding contest entry! It uses timer-based animation and 4D camera control to bring you the coolest viewing experience. Credits: Template cat: @CapitanFluffy Music: Geoxor - Stardust and Drops of Jupiter - Train Font: Space Explorer by Tokopress on 1001fonts.com Programming: @Amplifyre ( @LIGHTSPEEDCODE ) Stats: I used only 1 sprite, which spawns 129 clones. I also used over 6000 blocks, but many of them are math blocks :P Scientific Explanation: First off, this project is 4D because the clones move in 3D and special blocks allow time to be sped up or slowed down, therefore controlling 4 dimensions. Speaking of which, that funky-looking cube is called a tesseract. It's a 3D shadow of a 4D "cube". Also, "general relativity" is a term that describes that intriguing relationship between time and space. That's why, interestingly enough, black holes slow down time, which you can hear and see in this project. Because of relativity, time doesn't pass at the same speed for everyone, which is represented by the clocks running at different speeds. Inspiration: I was inspired by the song Space Oddity, the movie Interstellar, and the concept of general relativity. Design Process: I was working on a timer-based animation system that just kept getting more advanced. I started adding 3D camera control, time acceleration, clone layering, and a whole bunch of other cool stuff. I knew I just had to make a demo project, and when I saw that @CapitanFluffy was hosting a coding contest, I just had to join! It took kind of a while, but I'm really pleased with the result. :) Tags: #all #animation #meme #animeme #coding #contest #entry #CCE #template #cat #star #dust #space #tesseract #black #hole #time #general #relativity #3D #4D #camera #control #timer #FPSI #FPS #independent
