Press space or click for next drawing Lore/backstory: spark aka James was a stray cat living in the streets, until one day a man started feeding him daily, after 3 weeks of this the man stopped feeding James. 4 days later the man returned with a trail of food leading into a building, because of the man feeding James before he trusted the man enough to follow the trail. After James reached the last pile of food, the doors slammed shut behind him. Feeling unsettled James surveyed his surroundings: he saw a table with beakers, a microscope and some test tubes. And a desk with a computer and a notepad. Suddenly James saw something alarming, his eyes went wide…a cat suit that appeared to be exactly his size, connected to many cords, cables and tubes. “Come here spark” said the man looking at James, “huh? “Spark”? But…I’m James!” Thought James. The man sighed, he started walking towards James James was conflicted: this was the man that had fed him for more then 3 weeks, but the building has a suit suspiciously James-shaped that he did NOT want to be in. By the time James decided to try and escape it was too late: the man had already almost reached James and he couldn’t see any ways to escape! The man picked James up, and despite James’s kicking and struggling the man kept a tight hold on James and started putting him in the suit, !!!TIME SKIP!!! James was fully in the suit, except for one thing: a mask, it had a tube attached to it and James DID NOT want it on his face. But the man managed to get it on, and then James started feeling sleepy. He tried his best to stay awake but eventually gave in. !!!TIME SKIP!!! James starts to wake up: “what happened? W-why do I feel fu-funny? What did that man do to me?!?” He thinks. The man starts walking towards James holding something: a blue collar with a black diamond shaped pendant. However the pendant is almost completely covered in…glitches??!?? Pink and blue glitches appearing, flickering and disappearing. “Now, this might feel weird at first but don’t worry spark! You’ll get used to it!” Said the man. The man then put the collar on James, suddenly James felt a rush of energy, but not the usual kind, ELECTRIC energy! “Ow! It hurts!” Thought James suddenly he went unconscious, “oh dear, maybe it’s too strong for him to take…” said the man. !!!TIME SKIP!!! James regained consciousness, but is mind and body had been fused with an AI that was in the collar. “Hey! Wake up! I don’t have all day!” Said a misterios voice, “huh? Wha-what happened this time?!? “ said James feeling even more different than before. “YES! IT WORKED!” The man cheerfully shouted, “what worked?” Said James, as though speaking English had always been normal for him. Y-you’re TALKING!!! “Thanks to me!” Said the mysterious voice, “what’s so odd about me tal…” James paused, mid-word “WAIT HOW AM I TALKING????” He finished, finally remembering the way he was before. “Hahaha! You’re a fool to not have realised already” said the mysterious voice, “I’m Feline Communication And Improvement AI, FCAI AI for short, Professor Colin created me and fused us” said the now not-so mysterious FCAI AI. “An…A-AI ? he fused us?!?” Said James confused and worried “Yep! You’re kinda a…test subject now spark” “why does he keep calling me that? I’m JAMES!” Thinks James “nuh uh uhh, from now on you’ll go by spark, GOT IT?!” This time FCAI AI communicated to James’s mind, without speaking out loud. “O-okay?” Said Spark confused how FCAI AI heard his thoughts and still unaware the AI didn’t say it a lowed. “Well, the fusion has only just begun and you’ll need to train to work as one, so…spark your training starts now!” Says Professor Colin. With the fusion started and an annoying and bossy AI for a tail, Spark had no choice but to try to come to terms with his new self. 5 years later…the fusion is practically complete, Spark and FCAI AI now fully communicate via mind talk. But something the professor didn’t anticipate is that since he hadn’t given the AI any behaviour, kindness, sympathy or empathy lessons/knowledge, that attitude as rubbed off on spark, meaning he’s less polite and gentle than before. Other than that he’s mostly the same though, but not when FCAI AI gets bossy and dominant…
