Name: Fyrian (from Old English, it’s a word that I guess means “supply with material for a fire”, referring to the russet streaks in her feathers) Species: Velociraptor mongoliensis Gender: Female/Hen Pack: None, but I’m planning for her to join a pack eventually. Age: 14-15 years Description: A tan-colored hen with a white neck and chest, a black tail-tip, head, legs, and wings, and streaks of red on her neck and a patch of it around her eye. Personality: Adventurous, daring, outspoken, curious. Backstory: Fyrian hatched as a loner and grew up learning how to fend for herself. Her parents ditched their hatchlings when they were a week old, so Fyrian was left to learn the secrets and dangers of the Gobi desert herself. She is the last surviving member of her clutch. For a while now, Fyrian has been interested in moving into a pack, but her adventurous spirit keeps drawing her out of pack territory and into the great unknown, which she says always "welcomes her with open arms”.
