Happy Pride Month to all kind- Listen… A lot of people recognize June as Pride Month, where people are proud to represent their sexuality and gender. We are so focused on this to the point where no one is aware of Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month. I’m honestly tired of it. (No hate towards the queer community) It is sad to hear that men are four times more likely to un@live themselves and have certain thoughts relating to this topic, but people don’t seem to care about this, especially in June, because they are so enveloped in Pride Month. (Again, no hate) People don’t seem to care about the way men feel, and instead find ways to shame them for various reason. But deep down, men feel much more pain that anyone else does. And that isn’t fair. When we think about it, men are the most hardworking people out of all and have influenced everyone’s lives deeply, but very few respect that. Another problem is that with all of this hate and lack of awareness comes with bottled feelings. Men like to hold together their feelings, and the more and more of this treatment from others they receive, the more intense feelings they bottle up. Soon the pressure becomes too much, and they eventually fall victim to the people’s words, leading to death after death. It is said that in 2023, 50,000 men in America alone have un@alived themselves, which is an all time high and just sad to think about. Men need to be treated right. No exceptions. I don’t care what other genders and Pride celebrators (yet again, no hate) say about men, but if it’s something that could hurt them, just know that we have lives and feelings as well and that we celebrate our own pride too. Let this be a month to not only celebrate Pride Month but to celebrate the men in our lives too. And to all my boys out there…Happy Mental Health Awareness Month…stay safe out there… @HiddenChains
