Galen dreamed of the day that he would leave his small orphanage and build his own life. Ever since the day in 9,974 A.R that he was unceremoniously dumped by his parents at the doorstep, he’d always wanted a way out. Maybe he could be a doctor, or a scientist. Sometimes, he even dared himself dreaming of being an assistant to royalty. To him, it didn’t really matter what he did, as long as he could be free to explore the world. At least, he thought he’d be okay with anything. Galen was shipped off to the front lines of war when he was just 16, and it made him dream of the days when he sat rotting in the orphanage with nothing to do but dream. When the war came to an end five years later, he was horribly scarred, especially in his front left leg, causing him to walk with a limp for the rest of his life. Galen couldn't believe he was only 21 years old; the war had sucked the youth out of him, and he even looked older. He chose to take up an old childhood dream of his, to be a teacher. Now he can teach pups why war was outlawed, and hopefully help stop the horrors that happened to him from repeating themselves.
