even if you don't know much about Pikmin you should still sign up, basically the lore is that a tiny man from space crash lands on earth in his rocket ship but there are no humans on earth (it's hinted at there is nuclear radiation on the planet) so anyway he needs to get home to his family before his life support system goes out and he dies, but he needs his ship parts, which are now scattered across the planet, when all hope is lost he discovers a species in which he dubs "pikmin" after his favorite type of carrots, he uses the Pikmin to get his ship parts and escape the planet, and that only the lore of PIKMIN 1 there are 4+ games in the series and also the way he produces all the Pikmin to retrieve the ship parts for him is by using a ship like berry he calls "the onion" (looks a lot more like an onion in older games) that Pikmin go into when night falls. you can collect (I forgot the name) I'll call them "pellets" until I remember the other part of the name, to give to the onion so it absorbs them and shoots out Pikmin seeds then eventually get an army of them, also did I mention he uses Pikmin to fight of monsters? yup and they carry the dead bodies to the onion so it absorbs it to create more Pikmin. yeah, its a lot less complex then I made it sound lol. ALSO DID I MENTION IF YOU CRASH WHILE TRYING TO ESCAPE THE PLANET YOU DIE AND GET TURNED INTO A PIK- I didn't do that well at explaining it, but ask questions in the comments
