The Eldritch Caverns can only be found under swamp biomes, and are a fairly rare find. The caverns are purely made of Sacristone and dead moss. Sacristone can be made into bricks or smelted to get Smooth Sacristone, which can then be made into 10 various chiseled variants, each with different patterns. Hanging from the ceilings of this biome are large veins of Dieoluminescence, a mysterious, slime-like material that light up more when attached to other blocks of Dieoluminescence. The cave is filled with monoliths in different sizes, built long ago by some ancient kind, long abandoned. Or are they? The cave, while still populated with normal hostile mobs, is also home to a new species of mobs called Tentacults, that have 3 distinct variants. The Tentacult Follower is a 1 block tall, neutral mob, wearing a teal robe and resembling a humanoid with tentacles coming out of its face. It’s can drag and knock players around with its tentacles, and is a common recipe for their rituals. The Tentacult Priest is a 3 block tall, hostile mob, that will attack players with potions, similar to a witch, and will turn all Tentacult Followers aggressive towards you. The Tentacult Priest will also from time to time start one of 3 rituals to please their god. The Tentacult Beast is a 2 block tall, neutral mob, that resembles a glowing jellyfish with long tendrils and sharp teeth. They will float around and attack hostile mobs like zombies and skeletons and leave behind some dieoluminescence from each kill.
