In May 28, 2024, I imagined that one day, there will be a Redux and a Summer Edition made by a certain someone, until @ZYellow said he will do the redux, and I can do the summer edition. However, that was until I realized that later remixes might have problems saving, so I figured that I had to remix this project to make a clone-player engine, like with that used in Desktop Distress and Minefield Run. Additional features I implemented to this Barrel Extravaganza base are: - All of the rolling barrels are combined into one sprite, to save more space. - An alignment system has been added to prevent players from being misaligned with the ground, like with that used in Marble Madness V3. Sizing is added also. - I put myself on the exemption list for the "First Come, First Served" track because I don't really like this track from Mario Party 10 in my opinion. (If you like this song, I can handle your opinion) - A "seconds per frame?" block from Minefield Run has been added to the player sprites, where typing in Y will add second intervals per frame for your characters. - All of the footstep sounds are combined into one sprite, so it will be a lot easier to add custom footstep sounds and to get rid of unused footstep sounds. - Added icons for the player template to represent what action the player is doing. Hopefully this base will be useful for you and it will make creating player code, spin-offs, and surpassing the player count a lot easier. NOTE: I couldn't figure out how to get the characters to align their feet to the winner platform, so sorry if it's rough around the edges. I also stayed up all night to develop this project, let me know if I did something wrong. Credit to all, including: - @-Rex- for the Pen Text Engine++. - @ZYellow for the original add-yourself minigame. - @ZYellow for the clone-player engine. - All of the owners for all of the assets.
