This is shared project number 1,300 ! You're welcome. Read the notes and credits of this project before entering. RUMBLECLAN INFO: Rabbitstar (he/him) - The leader of RumbleClan. He's not an outgoing or expansionist leader, focusing on caring for his Clan rather than expanding their borders. He's easy-going, and a great mediator during conflict, though he gets spooked by loud noises. He has eight lives left. RumbleClan has neutral relations with nearby cats. Lizardleap (he/they) - While he wasn't who the Clan expected to get the promotion, they're a good deputy. He's a good judge of character and solves problems at the root. He feels he's a much better deputy than he would be as a leader, though this doesn't worry RumbleClan much. Starryjewel (he/him) - One of RumbleClan's medicine cats. He was born with limited use of his hind legs, and a deep connection to StarClan. His knowledge of herbs and enjoyment of gardening means he can be distant from his Clanmates, coming off as harsh and antisocial, but mentoring Thicketpaw has softened his outlook. Thicketpaw (they/them) - They're a silly little cat! Following the path of a medicine cat due to their pacifistic nature, Thicketpaw loves to make their Clanmates smile. They use their seemingly-limitless amounts of energy and enthusiasm to bring joy to their Clan (and occasionally cause mischief). In future, Thicketpaw's medicine cat name will be Thicketspring. Badgerflash (he/him) - A giant of a cat, Badgerflash is an absolute sweetheart underneath the intimidating exterior. He's protective and loyal, sometimes quite stubborn. The tom is same age as Foxwish, and the two are quite close, contrary to everyone's expectations. Badgerflash cares romantically for Foxwish, but is concerned that she doesn't reciprocate. He's got a soft spot for kits, and often plays with them in camp when he's not doing his duties. Badgerflash is taking responsibility for Koipaw's training while Mothsong is in the nursery. Foxwish (she/her) - Crafty, sharp-tongued and creative, Foxwish can outsmart almost any opponent and emerge victorious despite her small stature. She ran rings around Badgerflash when they were apprentices, and the pair developed an unlikely friendship. The pair are a super effective team, bringing back loads of prey from hunting patrols and making quick work of any threats when patrolling the border. Beneath the surface, Foxwish is head-over-paws for Badgerflash, but worried he won't feel the same. Stormshadow (he/they) - The clear choice for deputy, Stormshadow is a powerful warrior with keen senses. He accepts Lizardleap as deputy graciously, despite his ambitions. He is Orchidpaw's mentor, and though they're a little scared of his stern glare, he trains her well. He can be standoffish in his disapproval, but he cares deeply about contributing positively to RumbleClan even if he has difficulty showing it. Chinchillacurl (she/they) - A bundle of fluffy joy with energy almost rivalling Thicketpaw, Chinchillacurl is always a blast to have around. While she can be lazy when it comes to her duties, she's always there to cheer up a Clanmate and see the best in things. She and Thicketpaw love pulling harmless pranks together, she views the medicine-cat-apprentice like a protege and partner in crime. Orchidpaw (they/them) - A thoughtful and empathetic apprentice, Orchidpaw prefers to think carefully about any decisions they make. While they're a little spooked by how stern Stormshadow can be, they know they're learning a lot and can't wait to provide for their Clan as a warrior, even though it's hard work. In future, Orchidpaw's warrior name will be Orchidblossom. Koipaw (xe/xyr) - A bit of an oddball, Koipaw's innovative ideas and outside-the-box approach can be unsettling to some. Xe tries to follow the rules and the teachings of xyr mentor, as these are very important to xyr, and xe can't wait for Mothsong to leave the nursery. In future, Koipaw's warrior name will be Koishimmer. Mothsong (she/her) - An empathetic and eloquent queen, Mothsong is easily able to articulate her thoughts and the ideas of others. She tends to overwork herself, and has enjoyed relaxing in the nursery. Cicadakit (he/they) is quiet and very sleepy. Cottonflower (she/they) - Once the most feared RumbleClan warrior in living memory, Cottonflower became a med-cat due to a prophecy. Despite her soft exterior and bubbly personality, Cottonflower's bloodlust is a force to be reckoned with. Duskykit (she/they) is shy and cautious, Sheepkit (they/them) is extroverted and reckless. Quickstrike (he/him) - RumbleClan's sole elder, Quickstrike is a fatherly and loyal tomcat. He's always willing to share a story or two while the apprentices clean out his nest. He sneaks out of camp at night to stargaze on clear nights. TERRITORY: Up to you! Get creative with it! My ideas were an abandoned sewer/subway network and underground tunnels, but I'd like to see what y'all come up with!
DRAW-TO-ADOPT RULES & ENTRY THINGS: Baseline conditions of entry / rules you gotta follow: - Meme templates or entries remixed from other projects must be linked in the comments below. You can use other's code/music/etc but the visuals should be your own. (You don't have to link your entry in the comments if you remix this project) - No AI, stealing art, heavily referencing, using bases (even free to use ones), colouring-lineart, etc. If you suspect someone else's entry may be stolen art/AI-generated/etc (evidence may be required on your part), the person in question will be asked to remake their entry with their own art, or provide proof that they drew it. If they refuse, their entry will be removed from the DTA. I'll try to deal with the situation respectfully, without causing drama. - No inappropriate art [this includes art depicting blood, gore, or any other not-safe-for-work imagery]. Keep it PG, this is a kid's website. - The character should be recognisable. Please do not include drawings of any cats outside RumbleClan (the cats in this project). TL;DR ^ Art should be your own, keep it appropriate for Scratch, link your entry in the comments if it's a remix of something else, characters should be recognisable, basically just play nice and don't steal other people's stuff. If your entry does not meet these conditions, you will be asked to redo it, and removed from this DTA if you refuse. WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR / TIPS: [THESE ARE SUGGESTIONS NOT REQUIREMENTS] - The Vibes(TM) - Interesting poses and/or angles cats are drawn at - Interesting compositions/layouts - Characters interacting with their environments (instead of the character just existing in a coloured void) - Shading and/or lighting! Detail! (If you're drawing the characters multiple times, like if your entry is a short comic or animation, you don't have to be super detailed as long as it's recognisable) Some interesting things you could try, if you're out of ideas: [THESE ARE SUGGESTIONS, NOT REQUIREMENTS!] - A short comic showing a day in the life of a specific RumbleClan cat (a few pages/panels/etc to tell a short story, you don't have to do anything too long or detailed) - A short animatic or animation to an audio snippet (preferably less than a minute or less than 30 seconds) that you think fits one or more of the characters - Draw a few of the characters as if they were sprites for a warriorcats game! (idle animations optional) - Draw a few of the warriors on a hunting patrol, the kits playing, the medicine cats gardening, the apprentices training, or (hard mode) Rabbitstar addressing the Clan! Explore a dynamic you like between the different cats, draw ship art of Badgerflash and Foxwish, or draw Chinchillacurl and Thicketpaw playing a prank, whatever interests you the most! CLARIFICATION: Similarly to the ShrubClan WTA I did a while back, the entire Clan is up for adoption as opposed to each individual cat being up for grabs. Individual entries should aim to include at LEAST two cats from the Clan. You can include more, though the number of kitties you scribble will not necessarily give you a higher chance of winning. I will be judging based on ~vibes~, quality rather than quantity, and the stuff mentioned earlier in the 'What I'm Looking For' section. Additional content (pieces of writing, lore, territory maps, etc) won't impact how I judge your entry, but the effort is recognised and appreciated!
