Easter was started all because Jesus Christ died on a cross,to have us all be able to one day go to heaven when we die. So here's what happened, he was betrayed by Judas,one of his followers, and handed over to the Roman Empire,whipped,beaten by solders,had a crown of thorns nailed into his head,than was nailed to a cross to die.Three days later he came out of his tome,said hi to his surviving apostles, and than joined his father/God in heaven ,body,soul,and everything.But before all this happened he had a last supper with his apostles,accused Judas of betraying him later,and accused another apostle denying knowing Jesus 3 times.Of course,Jesus was correct.
