{Chapter 1} Winter always woke up early to see what Qibli was doing. It seemed like every day he was working on something to impress Moon. He looked to his bed to find Qibli was still sleeping. Winter tip-toed over to his shelf and found a slightly wonky looking painting of Qibli and Moon laughing together. He growled, "Anybody can do better than that." he said. He sighed and walked out of the cave to make something for Moon in the art area. He shivered. It always seemed much colder in the halls since the incident with Darkstalker. He thought he heard strange whispers in the halls every day now. He approached the art cave, thinking about what he could do if he had any animus powers. He entered the cave and saw Moon's unmistakable silver teardrop scales. Moon glanced over at him but looked anything but surprised. {Oh No, he thought. {I forgot my Skyfire.} "What are you doing here?" He growled softly. "Well," she said. "Since it's your hatching day soon, I thought I would make you something." From what he could tell so far, it was a painting of him, Moon, and Qibli with their tails entwined. She smiled at him, but then they heard talon steps coming close to the room.
