She was immersed in the story, unable to look away. "I love that book!" A voice rang from behind her. Zodiac whirled around to see the speaker. He was a handsome ginger tom with yellow and red markings. "Don't sneak up on me like that!" She closed her book, picked it up, and began to walk away. "Wait, don't go! My name's Slick, by the way. What's yours?" He said, gently touching his tail to Zodiac's back. "Zodiac." She mumbled, looking away. "Now leave me alone." "Zodiac. That's a beautiful name." Slick mewed. "What are you doing out here?" "I come here to read where it's quiet." Zodiac spread her wings. Slick nodded. "I just wander around." Zodiac tilted her head. "Why? Don't you have a home?" "Nah. I prefer to explore." "Isn't it dangerous?" "Not if you know what you're doing." Slick scented the air. "I have to go. I'll come here tomorrow at noon though. Will you be there?" "um... okay."
