This is something I’ve been meaning to talk about for a LONG time. And recent events have finally pushed this situation over the edge, so I’m talking about it now. I am absolutely FED UP with people basically demonizing Scratch Team, talking about them like they’re some sort of oppressive government, or making them seem like some kind of malicious entity. It drives me insane and I am sick of it. It is genuinely disgusting behavior. Is Scratch’s system flawed? Absolutely. But taking your anger out on a bunch of people, some of whom probably work on OTHER things for Scratch that aren’t the moderation, is utterly horrid. They are human. And humans are flawed and make mistakes. Instead of lashing out like toddlers, actually be kind and give calm feedback on how they can improve. It’s literally that simple.
