Gumdrop: Life in Goolandia - A Platformer Dedicated to @terrafox ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Use the arrow keys to move Gumdrop around. Wall jump by touching the wall and holding the up arrow and the arrow according to which wall you are jumping (example: jump left wall; hold left arrow key and up arrow key. Explore Goolandia and collect the blue Next Level dots. Each level is not impossible, I have tested and tested each one. You can skip or use the space bar to restart a level. I used @djpro's tutorial to make the hard part. It was a miracle, it let me focus on graphics and making it fun and do-able. <= => Hey guys. It's future HappyParakeet, almost two years future. The date is 1/26/18, and I was going through my projects when I came across this gem. These were the days when I got 4 likes and called it my best project... Earlier today I was even curated, something I didn't even know possible when I shared Gumdrop. I'm looking back and realizing that this was my pride and joy. And now I have come so far. So since I have thankfully preserved this milestone for my 2016 years, I'm leaving this note: ++ The date is 1-26-18, and when I get under 30 views I am unhappy. Some of my best projects are "Try Not To Laugh Engine", "Color Tap", "Fruit Mania", "Pig Latin Translator", and a few others. I get happy when I get 40+ views, though some of my projects have reached the thousands. I have been front-paged three times, and my most-viewed project is Merge with 1, 500+! Today, Fruit Mania was curated by HehtorOCH. ++ I hope in a few years I will come back and see this project, then see this note. If you read it, comment! Wow, okay, future Budgie here. Like, it's January 29th, 2020. I'm going through my old projects and unsharing a bunch of the ones I'm not proud of anymore. So much has changed. I'm never on Scratch anymore. I code still, but it's not my hobby as much as it was. I miss this time in my life. Hey past self, you get featured!!! I'm doing okay, but I do think I peaked two years ago, when I was Scratching and playing soccer and had my bird. I hope future Budgie reading this is doing well, and has found her way.
