I hinted at it in a previous project, but since the TTYD remake is releasing in the next week I think it is finally time for me to start making in depth reviews on the Paper Mario series! Overtime, I will talk about every entry in the series eventually ending on Origami King. And I thought, what better way to start off than with the one I started the series on. That's right, first up we have Super Paper Mario on the Wii! The first time I ever played it was in 2017, when I was 7 years old. I got extremely bored of the opening cutscenes, so I just started playing New Sup. Wii instead. But then I tried it again a few months later, and I got all the way to chapter 7-2 before rage quitting. Recently, I replayed it right between TOK and TTYD, and I thought it was a pretty great game (I actually finished this time). And since I'm about to start talking about every Paper Mario game, I played and finished Super again, and my opinion has changed. Super is a very contentious game in the series. Some view it as a classic, saying that it is on par with the original two games, if not better. Others say that it is the point where the series went on a gradual decline. I have tons of thoughts on this game, and I also have a lot of nastalgia. But for the sake of being fair, I will put my biases aside, and dive into this game. One problem, this tiny little project won't be nearly enough to support all of my thoughts and feelings. So that means for the first time ever... (PRESS SPACE)
