I have no clue why I did this. Because I saw something Kid Icarus related? Most likely. I was originally going to animate this where Dark Pit was awful at Light Vs Dark. (a game mode in KIU) He kept getting turned to stone, Falling in blackholes, and blinded. Very sad.. maybe that's why i didn't animate it- Apparently Kid Cudi made this song, Day 'N' Nite in 2008. Why is it popping up now? I don't know! I also feel like I should know who this Kid Cudi is. Their name seems familiar... But I do not know. But either way, this seems to be a cover song, since the original doesn't sound so... Homemade? (Edit: I now realized I recognized that name for who made the song "Stars In The Sky", it was for sonic movie) Also, this song made me realize I am so bad at understanding english with its grammar and meanings to words. I still feel like I'm not writing the lyrics correct, even AFTER searching it up! 5/18/2024 changed "uh" to "um" Edited some timing for some code on main signer, secondary signer, and drums. changed "cus day and night" to "cuz day and night" tried to fix the clap code, but gave up. I BEGAN MY SPRITE SEARCH QUEST! I came back successful with Pit & Palutena Sprites. (i wish palutena was higher quality..) Now.. i just need to look for Viridi and Dark Pit. Did a "what-what" code for Pit. 5/19/2024 re-aranged stuff for pit again. i just went through a lot of trouble to try and find stuff for viridi.. AND i didn't end up finding what i wanted, so i settled for this. 5/20/2024 working on Pit's timing code with his sprites then working on editing the duet text because it's offsync Removed Dark Pit stuff, (it was too highquality) I added some Dark Pit sprites. That duet text is pretty good now! working on some HUD things (i think that's the name) I think I'll work on making a fading code. 5/25/2024 I finished the Kid icarus inspired HUD, but i never tested it out... so... functionally it's... uhh..... i guess i should have planned this out more. Oh well! It still looks pretty cool! ..Now I need to actually work on that fading code. uh. i just.. added flowers on the HUD, to distingwish who is speaking.. BUT HEY! LOOKS COOL! I also made the fade code, it literally took less than 5 minutes. So.. that's cool! (why did i procrasinate?) Touching up code for efficiency! (specifically for melody) just added Dark Pit's "sassy" sprite, because i forgot to. oh cod. i think i've been staring at this project for too long. Dark Pit is starting to look just like Pit. OH NO!! how is that even possible?!? uhh.. anyways. just did the duet sprites for Dark Pit, so.. IT'S TIME!! ..to stop. 5/27/2024 Added punctuation to all but the 2 main lyrics. Thinking of making a code where Pit says different "what" Just wrote down all the lyrics and restructured all the first verse into sentences. Re-doing some timing code to fit that, it's not done. Huh.. I guess this is technically my first lyrics video? Odd. Re-did the timing code for the first part, now it's done! why-why why is this 'what code' giving me so much trouble?? Changed name's for the what's. I can't think of how to not give the same effect of blinking with Viridi, without blinking.. I'm done for now. 5/30/2024 My Dark Pit's emotion timing isn't good, I need to edit the new code I did. 8/19/2024 well, i am editing that new code... taking a few hours.. Maybe that's why i left. for... 2 months. please re-color the text future me to match the border 8/21/2024 some timing fixing, swaping some emotions for certain parts for Pit, all the ending text code and fixing grammar.. Oh! Also re-colored the text, thanks past me. ... I think this is done enough, wow. That took..... ... no idea. I can't do the math. WELP. DONE-DONE, time to share. ... i'm having second thoughts. Does me writting the proper lyrics and adding too much effort ruin the "meme-ability" of it? ... welp. uh. Time to keep looking through old-ish projects and finish them up before summer ends.
