Midori Automotive - 1998 Kazoku Remaster ——————— Press L to engage and disengage lights. ——————— In 1997, after revealing their heavily anticipated Chiheisen concept car, as part of the Himitsu Project line, Midori decided to showcase the production version of their newest model, the Kazoku. As the beautiful sedan rolled out glimmering in its Juliet-colored paint, everyone who had attended the press conference was stunned. The Kazoku started production in 1998, and was the first Sedan that Midori had ever produced. The Kazoku came with some advanced technology for the time, including heated seats, a high quality surround sound stereo system, and on Japanese-spec models, a full functioning GPS. All of this technology did give the car some weight, however the car more than compensated, as the car featured a tuned Inline 6 that had come from the Chiheisen concept that was showcased. The Inline 6, codenamed KSTi6 (Kazoku Super Turbo i6), uses twin charging technology, meaning the engine is Turbocharged as well as being Supercharged. With the benefits of both forms of forced induction, this allows the engine to achieve exceptional power, achieving around 590 hp, which was great for the time. This allowed the somewhat heavy sedan to achieve quite fast speeds for the time, the Kazoku being able to achieve a possible speed of ~200 MPH, though being electronically Limited to 165 for safety reasons. The car weighs in at 1498 KG, and comes with a 6 speed manual or a 5 speed auto. The car was well received, and while being different from other previous Midori models, the car still captured the hearts of some. This propelled the Himitsu Project forward, and a series of other experiments would change Midori for a long time. ——————— This vehicle is the remake of the Midori Kazoku.
