Whoopee [edit] aaAA I FORGOT SCRATCH EXISTED ILL LOOK AT UR OFFERS NOW (still choosing between offers for some of ‘em :P) Also, random rant :P I’m going to be talking (more like writing tho lol) abt my future and where I see myself on this platform so ye If that interests you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (If not, just scroll wayyy down) —————— Okay… let’s just start it here. To put it straight-forward, scratch doesn’t interest me as much as it used to. My goals when I started was to reach a point of satisfaction in my digital art, and I have (and I can’t thank you lovely lot enough for wonderful this journey <33). I equally wanted to learn to interact with ppl better, and although I can’t say I’ve completed that goal ( :’) ) I’ve learnt a lot over my time here. Then, I wanted to make animation memes, and turned to scratch bc it was where I was comfy and had the resources. And then one of my dreams since I was 4 came true; to make a profit from my art. Even now, I’m still here partly bc of my commissions. It just makes me so happy to make art for ppl <33 I even reached +1k followers, smth I never thought would happen. I’ve had so many goals achieved on this imperfect but amazing platform. However… without those goals, what will drive me to stay? Commissions, yes. Practice in the social aspect, hesitant but yes. Sharing my art? Absolutely! Burnout just gets to me more now. Irl stuff too. I’m still just an individual in the middle of her teen years who has a lot to work on, school or not. On top of that, I’ve been noticing a lot more theft. Designs being replicated, art being traced or full-on stolen. Even though most of the time it isn’t me being stolen from, it discourages me to post my creations. You can never know who stole your art and where it ended up until you find out. Many ppl could be out there, stealing your art So, where do I see myself in the future on scratch? I definitely see myself “leaving” in the next year or two, but I don’t think I’d stop completely. I’d prob peak around from time to time, sharing profitable projects for who knows what reason. There’s no doubt that I’ll only post projects every couple months (or more) unfortunately during that time, but I’ll still frequent scratch. I’ll prob start an acc on insta sometime soon bc I really wanted to open a small art business for some passive income, after all, selling my art was my dream. So, ye. Knowing this, I’ll try to narrow down my collection design/characters I own, down to the ones I really REALLY want to keep. (So if you see smth that you like in my (badly organized) storage, just go offer on it lol Idris anymore abt how ‘tent’ it is) As an extra, let’s talk designs. Yes, there are thousands and thousands of design possibilities, whether it be through colours or accessories or anatomy related things. However, it’s inevitable that someone, somewhere will choose, completely coincidentally, the same theme and the same colours for their unique design. (Popular moodboards are really bad for this bc many ppl use the same moodboard sometimes) Now, this doesn’t bother me, (Weeell,,, maybe a bit, but I accept it) but what does is when ppl falsely accuse others of copying one of their own designs and starting chaos for a complete and utter coincidence. There are only so many possibilities. I’m also worried that I’ll one day unintentionally recreate someone’s design through these accumulated ideas of whom I don’t remember the origin. It’s pushed me to slow down on my character designing (and yet ironically, this is an OTA lol). [edit] I cringeee —————— (Okay, finally actual OTA stuff now lol) quick TOS: -Please use them :3 (idrk if u don’t, but it makes me happy to see art of my designs and go “w o a h” lmao) -no stealing/heavily referencing -don’t use the exact same colour palette -tell me when giving/trading (kinda opt. but it makes t easier to see if someone’s stolen a design or it was just traded) -NO RESELLING FOR MORE THAN YOU GOT IT!! (Da points-wise, does not apply for art) (ye please don’t :’) ) What I want (most to least): Da points >robux>art >>customs (trying to narrow down my designs :’) ) For those wondering if I still take glitchii gold, ig I do bc I love the passion and the concept of the myo but i won’t take huge amounts sorry- Also sorry for the relatively high ab prices compared to my past, I’m trying out to see what works with me designs : * < ****** 1.
