“Which slide should we go on?” Ikari asked, they were all the same height, just different colors. I liked blue, so I chose the blue slide. She smiled just as I realized the trick, she just wanted to know my favorite color. What a cheap trick! I thought. I couldn’t do anything about it though, that’s what annoyed me the most. It would be silly to get mad at her over such a small thing, and she already knew anyway. I made a note to myself to think twice before answering questions. I knew I’d forget, but I told myself not to do it again anyway. Ikari pulled me towards the stairs that led up to the blue slide. This time I wasn’t scared to go down the slide, it’s not as scary as I thought it’d be last time, so it’s probably not that scary this time too. Ikari went down the slide first, she giggled as she went down the slide, she liked slides. After I made sure she was out of the way, I went down the slide. It wasn’t scary at all this time, it was fun. I couldn’t help but feel a bit happier than I was before. I wanted to slide more, and so I did. Ikari and I slid down the slides for hours, until my father came to pick me up. This time, I told Ikari bye before running off. It was the least I could do since I had so much fun because of her. “You seem happier after hanging out with that girl.” Father said, amused. I shrugged, “I played on the slides today, that’s it,” I said indifferently. Still, I couldn’t help but secretly agree with him. I did have a lot of fun because of her, even if she was annoying. I eagerly awaited the next day at the park.
