CreekClan took this as an omen, that these two kits would be guided by StarClan, and would help each other in more ways than they knew. One family, still newly mourning the loss of a beloved brother and mate, and the other, mourning a divorce and a feeling of unwantedness. And the two kits find each other, bound by a seemingly otherworldly connection. Citrusecho is always watching. Citrusecho died and Robin mourned, later he and Onyxshadow became mates, both wanting to sustain a part of Citrusecho with them. They later found Icaruskit, abandoned and hungry. They retreat back to the Clans in order to care for their son. Saplingstrike has just gone through a difficult cat-divorce with his former mate, Darkwraith. She didn't want kits and she ended up unexpectedly expecting. Instead of taking responsibility, she dumped all of it on Saplingstrike and refused to ever have a relationship with her son. Saplingstrike, upset, but determined, took care of his son alongside his friend Woollywish. He and Woollywish soon fell in love and became mates as well, making her Inkpaw's step-mother. But, she's more like his actual mother since she literally took care of him all this time, and that's what Inkpaw considers her to be. !!
