It’s a contest where you draw the designs/characters in the project that you want ^^ Then, I’ll choose the best art piece / entry (in my opinion) for each character to get the design! —— >> rules (please read before you enter!) — [!] deadline: July 20th (this is open for around 2 months) - please don’t enter if you’re in my black/greylist ^^' (don’t worry if you don’t know if you are, if I haven’t told you then you probably aren’t on it! If you want to make sure though, the lists are at the bottom of the description in my ‘to-do list’ studio) - all art has to be made by you! You can add pictures for backgrounds, stickers, etc. into your art but the main focus should be on your own art. [!] This means the use of AI, picrew, gacha, etc. is /not/ allowed + plagiarism (stealing others art and claiming it’s yours) and using others art in any way is also not allowed (no tracing, recoloring, heavily referencing, etc.) - please remix to enter! This is to make keeping track of entries more easier. If you don’t, I might miss it while judging :”) (excludes amvs) - please don’t use any of the designs here for things other than an entry for this dta (unless you’ve won the design) - if you win the design, you can do whatever you want with it as long as it follows my rules and scratch’s community guidelines - you may tweak the designs a little bit, but please make sure the designs are recognizable from the original. I know that they are pretty complex so feel free to simplify them a bit as well ^^ (this also means species bending to any species that drastically changes the design (like to a dragon species, bird species, or to a human) is not allowed, but to any similar species like a jaguar or dog is fine) * please note that species bending only changes the anatomy of the design, not affecting anything like the patterns, colors, or fur length/type * please ask before species bending for if that specific species is allowed ^^ - if you win a design, please credit me whenever you use or post about it. They have small owl wings and an optional mask that resembles the face of a bird. Their fur is spiky and their bracelet is on their right front leg. - Dawn // design note(s): They have small bird wings (there’s not really a specific species of bird haha) Bracelet is on their left front leg note: both of the designs above have matching little bracelets :D (they wear them on opposite sides) you can exclude this if you want though - Cloud // design note(s): the upper paw print in the reference is for both the front paws. The lower one is for the hind legs. They also have big floppy ears designs are mirrored (except for Dawn and Dusk’s face patterns and bracelets) —— And now, finally… Things to up your chances of winning (opt.) ^^ ———— - putting effort into your entry - shading/lighting/rendering, composition, backgrounds, and/or immersive scenes! - backstories/stories (although I will likely base how I judge your entry on the art you make then the story haha) - making the art piece portray the story, personality, include clever symbolism, etc! - amvs, pmvs, animatics, memes, anything else that relates to art like that will definitely show dedication to the character :0 - planning on including them in big things like using them as your sona, main character, in a comic/series, or a story! ———— that’s all! thank you for reading all of this and I hope you have a good day/night ^^

I just need to double check results and all entries one more time, finish the cover art + make the whole project [Jan 25, 3rd update: finally started working on setting up the results project- (I’ve also finished the cover art btw :D) I’ve gotten some good progress but I should really be doing my homework that’s all due tomorrow… yeah school will get in the way again, I’ll try and get back to grinding on it probably the next weekend [Mar 5, update #4: I will try my best to get this done during my upcoming spring break.
