I've been seeing other Scratchers reboot old stories and I was wondering if I could reboot one of mine. If you remember, a year ago I was working on a Warriors comic called Halfpelt's Double Life. I had to cancel it due to a lack of inspiration, but I wished that I could continue it because I loved the characters, the story, and the general concept. I never actually wanted to cancel Double Life, but it felt like the only thing I could do. But now my inspiration has returned! I'm starting to consider rebooting Double Life. I've even been developing things about the story, even though I didn't think I'd continue it. So if I reboot it, how should I do it? Should I post it as a comic again (if I did do it as a comic, I would redraw chapters 1 and 2 with a revised script) or as written chapters? Should it be on Scratch or another site? I have other stories to work on, (*coughcough* Surrounding Drakness *cough*) and I don't know if I'll have time to work on Double Life the same way I did before. If I DON'T reboot Double Life, I would write out the entire plot of the story, and release the characters on Toyhouse, with each character's whole arc written of their profile. But if I do reboot it, I might still post the characters on TH, just without spoiling each character's role in the story. So I'm wondering about that too. I'd probably redesign some of the characters a little too. Speaking of which, I got bored and made up new refs for Halfpelt, Gingerflight, and Reedcall with their redesigns, plus a ref for a new character, Duskleap! (She's Blossomtail, Pebbleleap, and Hazelsong's mother.) But I still have plenty more redesigns planned (I just went wild with Reedcall.) So should I do this? What do you think? P.S. If I decide to bring back Double Life, I'm probably going to need TNEs for the chapters, so I might make a project about for too.
