Oliver, Sonic and Shadow were shocked about…many things, but they were tied on two specifically, one, that they were surrounded by badniks left to right, or that Imposter Shadow was really named…Arcana? But before they could react, the badniks started to attack them. “The usual badnik platter, huh Eggman?!” Shadow shouted. Eggman was silent, just watching the battle commence. “When were you ever going to tell us your real name was Arcana…Huh?” Sonic said, while spindashing into a badnik. “I was embarrassed ok???” Arcana answered, punching a motobug into the wall. “Shadow look out!” Oliver exclaimed. Just then, he pounced at a Caterkiller, aiming eyes directly at Shadow. Oliver blushed and giggled, while Shadow just looked confused. The battle was a swarm of badnik parts and fire (who knew badniks were so flammable?), Shadow and friends clashing and fighting like there was no tomorrow. Sonic spotted a remote in Eggman’s hand that didn’t seem to control the badniks, so it must’ve been the remote that controlled Arcana. “Arcana! Get up to eggman and get that remote!” Sonic commanded, his voice prideful. “On it Sonic!” Arcana signaled. Shadow teleported onto the Egg’s “Egg Mobile”, which was 30 feet in the air. Eggman was infuriated and started to turn it to make him fall off. “You think that a little 360 is gonna make me fall?” Shadow quipped, punching him in the face. He fell down onto the hard iron floor of his hovercraft, but the remote was still tightly gripped to his hand. Sonic also jumped on. “And where did you learn to fight? Old man academy?” Sonic added. While the burn war continued, Arcana continued to climb a misplaced pillar, and pounced off it. Oliver watched in terror as if he wasn’t gonna make it, but he did…barely. He landed on the edge of the Egg Mobile, slipping and then grabbing on with his hand. Eggman got up, seeing his chance. “You’ll regret not obeying me Arcana!” Eggman yelled. Just then, with a press of a button, Arcana was tased. With his grip loosening, he fell. “NO!” Oliver boomed, running toward Arcana’s landing spot. Still in mid air, Arcana fell…Oliver inches away from catching him, was too late…He fell face first. Shadow, devastated, punched him off the edge, and Eggman went crashing down. Sonic jumped off the Egg Mobile, but Shadow remained. His eyes stared at the remote that made it happen. “You little piece of…” Shadow snarled. Instead of the average punch of the remote, he chaos blasted the remote, breaking the remote and a spill of cables spurted out. He jumped off, and met up with his team. “We need to find help…” Oliver said softly.
