After what felt like two seconds later she returned with two ice creams, one chocolate and one strawberry. She hurriedly handed the strawberry one to me, “Kitty, you gotta eat it fast or it’ll melt! It's very, very hot today!” She said, then bit into her ice cream. She...bit her ice cream? I think she saw my disgusted face, because she laughed, “Don’t worry, I don't have sensitive teeth or anything.” She said between laughs, her ice cream already started to drip. She noticed and licked the cone, then the ice cream, then bit it again. I turned away in disgust and licked my ice cream, stopping it from melting for a bit. We ate the ice cream quickly, then sat on a bench afterward. “It was yummy, wasn’t it?” Ikari said, chocolate ice cream all around her mouth. I nodded, it was good. I didn't say that out loud though, because if I did she’d have an amused smile. She had the annoying amused smile anyway. “Since I bought you ice cream, you should tell me your name.” She said, “Unless you don't mind me calling you Kitty.” I did mind. But still, I’d rather her not know my name, I didn't want to become friends with her. I didn't say anything, and she thought that must’ve meant I don’t mind being called Kitty, or something like that because she continued to talk and call me that silly nickname. Luckily, my father soon arrived. I jumped up and ran towards him. “Happy to see me? You usually seem so indifferent to me, Hei-” I put my hand over his mouth rushedly. I pointed to Ikari, who had an innocent smile on her face, “She can not know my name! Or else she’ll try and be my friend more!” I said. He smiled, confused. “Why don’t you want to be friends with her? You do need to socialize more.” He said. I shook my head, “I'm fine. I don't want to be friends with such a nuisance!” I said, indignantly, then took his hand and pulled him over to the car so he wouldn’t try and talk to her. He sighed, “Fine, we can leave, but please don't be so rude to her. Don’t call people nuisances,” he said, getting into the car. I looked back before getting in the car and saw Ikari’s amused face. She waved, smiling, “Come back soon!” She called. I promised myself I’d never come back to this park, ever again.
