S T O R Y Sandheart and her mate Thrushclaw are deeply in love for 4 moons (1 moon=1 month) until suddenly a badger appears in their dusk stroll and attacks them. Thrushclaw defends Sandheart and keeps the badger at bay and tells her to run, but she tells him no and that she loves him too much to let him go. While she is telling Thrushclaw, the badger swipes at him, leaving a life-threatening wound. Sandheart manages to scare the badger away. She walks back to her love and he says his sad last words and a loving goodbye. After that Sandheart sticks her nose into Thrushclaw's fur and cries. A moon later she is in the same forest where he died (same time too) and Sandheart hears his soft voice calling to her. She spots a warm glow coming from the direction of Thrushclaw's voice. Sandheart walks towards it and finds him in a spirit-like form and cries because she loved him so much. The End. ♥ CREDITS ♥ @BigJams
