All of the characters in object shows [with a few exceptions, which i'll get to later] have "souls" which came from living people from the Real World. These "souls" from the people were linked with objects in the World and then transported to the Object Show Universe, in the respective object show world, by a "God" who is said to be able to travel between the Object Show Universe and the Real World and can travel to the different object show Worlds. The exceptions to these are: -Robot/machine characters [eg. Robot Flower, TV, Remote, Roboty, and the Speaker Boxes from BFDI/BFB/TPOT]: The robot/machine characters don't have any souls and instead are coded with personalities by their creators -Algebraliens: Their souls were just created by the "God" and aren't linked with any humans from the Real World as they are, like in the name, aliens.
