(If this seems similar to something, you're right, I'm basically taking this directly from the anime lol) Now you have your team, and maybe even evolved some of them, you may choose to partake in the Contest of Trainers! You don't entirely need to but here's the basic concept: Trainers are separated into 4 ranks, those being Poke, Great, Ultra, and Master Ball ranks. When you enter, you start at Poke Ball rank, and will need to battle other trainers to advance. When battling, you must send an official challenge, and a member of the Ultra or Master rank will officiate the battle. Before the battle, trainers must agree on the amount of pokemon each side will use, and when one side loses, the other side may rank up depending on how many battles they have won as well as how well they fought. To reach master rank though, it is a bit different. First you will want to be Ultra ball ranked, then, find one of the 10 trainers in master rank, which will be hard as they travel a lot, and if you win, you take their place in the ranking. Remember the rules of battling when trying all this though, as it's centered around battles.
